A handout I wrote, illustrated and risoprinted for a workshop I facilitated with Radical Rhizomes called “Meeting Our Plant-Kin: A Radical Introduction to the Ecology of the South Downs”.   Radical Rhizomes is a free to access, creative social network curated by and exclusively for Queer/Trans/Intersex Black and People of Colour (QTIBPoC).
Rooted in healing justice and queer ecology, the workshop explored what it could mean to be in alliance with the more-than-human world as a marginalised community.
The Spoon Fairies on Strike! A risograph printed zine.   I have imagined that spoons, as in Spoon Theory, are grown by Spoon Fairies in their spoon gardens. The Spoon Fairies are fed up of trying to live up to capitalist ableist expectations and demands, and have decided to go on strike.
They have published a zine to help organise and educate ahead of the strike. The zine includes a pull out poster and is riso-printed in 2 colours. Self-initiated project in response to recent government proposed cuts.
Poster comissioned by Abolitionist Futures, Leeds University (2023)
