The Spoon Fairies on Strike! A risograph printed zine. 

I have imagined that spoons, as in Spoon Theory, are grown by Spoon Fairies in their spoon gardens. The Spoon Fairies are fed up of trying to live up to capitalist ableist expectations and demands, and have decided to go on strike. 

They have published a zine to help organise and educate ahead of the strike. The zine includes a pull out poster and is riso-printed in 2 colours. Self-initiated project in response to recent government proposed cuts.

Workshop handout I wrote, illustrated and risoprinted.

Rooted in healing justice and queer ecology, the workshop explored what it could mean to be in alliance with the more-than-human world as a marginalised community.   

Chalk grassland is a rare and intricate ecosystem, and can be home to more than 40 species in a single square metre.
